When I first went to Rome, what I wanted to see more than the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain and Santa Maria Basilica were Vespas. It was a different feeling to see them in the place where he was born. Because beyond being a machine, it was a way of life for me. After the Second World War, the economy in Italy collapsed and factories and roads were severely damaged. There is a problem in individual transportation. Enrico Piaggio wants to produce a solution to the increasing demand, a vehicle that can be used by women, that does not dirty clothes, and that can be carried by one person. They named it "Vespa", which means wasp, because of the sound it makes. While I was looking for these bees on the streets, they suddenly came across me. I can't remember how I set the frame at that moment, what my camera's shutter speed was, what my aperture range was. But I was able to catch them floating with their shadows before they disappeared from my sight. They were keeping Mr. Piaggio's dream alive, each of them was on the road with their lovers hugging them, taking over the street.
